Accidental Epiphanies

Others indulge in unwavering poetic symphonies, I get accidentally epiphanic.

Goodnight

Who taught the stars to arrive without sound?
Who buried whole oceans beneath common ground?
What road do we take after hearts start to break?
And who gathers the pieces no hands can remake?
What becomes of a wound when it learns not to fight?
Who told grief to linger long after goodnight?

One response to “Goodnight”

  1. The memories of the long forgotten paths, waved the way for the stars to come quietly…

the time that passed buried the ocean under our feet so that we can suffer…

the only road to take is forward, even if we wish to stay in the past…

the tears holds the pieces together that the hands cant work upon again…

wounds becomes the scar, not the symbol of pain but of healing

grief lingers only because the heart doesn’t know to turn off the light after our tears say good night
